Swapping Motivation

I'm in my first image swap with some of my SBS2 Sisters (Hi Flossie, Carol, Ann Marie and Bonnie!) and as I've stamped out the images I'm sending I've done a few extra for myself. Here are three cards I made today with the images.

First, my favorite using Boat Loads of Love. I colored it first with my new Copics (I have a cheesy grin on my face as I type that--I really like them a lot!) then did the best to find card stock to match. I am very pleased with the results.

Next up is a stamp from Farm Fever. I wish I had card stock that coordinated with the patterned paper a little better but all things considered (the whole thing took 10 minutes) I'm happy with it.

The final card, which took forever, is my least favorite of the three. It is a waterfall card using SU's A Tree for All Seasons. It needs something (suggestions welcome) but I'm not sure what.

In any case, my son conned me into agreeing to another sleepover, which makes two in a row (different friends) so I had better go squalsh the giggling I hear from them.

Great cards! I should have been making cards when I stamped the images for the swap! I think the waterfall card looks fine, so I have no suggestions for you. The boat and sheep cards are great!

Oh Lori they are really lovely cards, I love that Boatloads of Love image, I really must get me some of those, lol so cute - he he thank goodness our house is just far too small for sleepovers, we only have a 3 bedroom typical UK home, three girls of our own, definitely no room for other bodies!!!! lol

Cute cards Lori! I especially like the tugboat one. I just love those puffs of smoke cut out and popped up.

These are all super cute! I love the Ewe - I don't have the set, but I made 2 cards with it at a make & take, and sent one to a close friend a couple months after her father passed. It gave her just the chuckle she needed! You've just gotta love a stamp that can do that!

So cute! That boat image is one of my favorites. Using the trees for a waterfall card is such a great idea--I may have to try that.

I love all of your cards Lori! The waterfall card is pretty and I don't think it needs anything else! I love the pully part - using the embellishment is very creative.

Your SBS2 sis,
Maria

Great cards! Love the boat card in particular.

I really need to get round to playing with my copics - got them for christmas and just haven't really had the time/inclination to play properly.

I wasn't able to participate in the image swap this time around, but will have to remember how you went about it. Making extra images for your own cards at the same time. I love all the cards, but my favorite is the A Tree For All Seasons card. I would not change a thing, the pattern paper you used for the layer adds just the perfect touch without over doing it.
