I will admit that when my local Kohl's opened at 4AM on Black Friday I was there. When Target opened two hours later, I was there and more importantly, I was at Michael's before 9AM so that I could happily received 25% off my entire purchase, sale items included. My goal is to be done all gift buying before December 1st so that I can slow down and enjoy the wonder of the season with my son. Last year I spent so much time rushing around trying to get things "done" that I never really got to enjoy the time with my family and friends until it was almost time to usher in the New Year--of course, we ushered in 2007 with Scarlet Fever--Russell (my six year old) had it over Christmas Break.
I need to stop rambling and add my new SBS2's to my list so I can start getting to know them. It is after 11PM so it may not get done until morning but I am looking forward to checking in with them.

I've never done a black Friday before because I am not a morning person. If I ever feel the need to do it, I'm just going to stay up all night and sleep after I'm done shopping. I'd never wake up if I had to set my alarm for 3 am! :D
i wish i had a 'normal' job so i could have gone shopping! i had to work, as usual!
